Shrub Bed Planting 10/28 9am-11:30am
Planting is a great way to make an immediate impact on your community while connecting with nature. Join us in planting shrubs and trees!
Planting season continues with the installation of 2 shrub beds along 3rd Street, west of S Nogales avenue underneath the highway overpass. We will begin at 9am. Parking is available along 3rd Street.
We'll start with a planting demonstration. Up With Trees Citizen Foresters will be in attendance alongside our staff to welcome you. All necessary tools will be provided and prior experience isn't necessary. Gloves and water will be provided as needed but bring your own if you can!
This is a come and go event. We hope you can stay until all shrubs/trees are planted, mulched and staked but even an hour of your time makes a difference.
